"Small problem with sql"

Sorry guys, nothing to do with sql. I just need to write something without a bunch of morons seeing it.

Everyone interested in this knows who they are. People fed up with the state of Fog Chat.

We need somewhere to chat without a bunch of morons messing it up. Life and sport is being split, staff are worried that Life won't take off because it requires thoughtful topics, ala Fog Prime.

Why not combine the two? Like what Fog Prime used to be. A combination of thoughtful topics, and a few more about cats to keep people coming back. The reason why I didn't want to say was because if a huge amount of people realised it, it wouldn't work. Hell, do you think the idiots are going to bother going into the life forum? They never usually do.

Hopefully, they won't follow us. And hell, if they do, we can always move again. Hopefully, hopefully, they won't.

Leaving the Special Reserve forums won't feel right, this is our home. Thanks for the offering though turbo, it was kind.

I have an idea, how about the forum we use is not a GAD forum? Just an idea which may put quality ito the posts and not GAD attempts...

I've just made a topic on Music, DVD. It'll be funny to see what people think of it, but it tells you, in more ways than one, to come here. I just hope it isn't TOO obvious.

Turbo, it's not just us, you see... but the staff too. We love the company of Snuggly, Loki, and Tony, and leaving here is leaving them. We can't do that.

I'm not sure if this can be done but I think it may be somehow.

Well the notables have there name but not much say really. I think a password protected forum or something is created here for the notables and users they think are ok to post in the forum.

Good idea Grix, I am fed up with the FOG Chat too.

But, I think the name 'chat' really has made the place something it shouldn't be.

Thing is, we can't just take over the 'life etc' forum as that forum is for a certain topic much like all the other forums are bar FOG Chat.

We need a place where the real disscussers can talk and have their chat. Tony created MIST just like that, I don't know why SR won't be able to do something else.

No doubt we'll have a few unwanted people but sometimes it can put fun into it all, but when its all the ime...damn thats annoying e.g chat.

I want something done though, I'm with all this, lets get something done.

I vote we see how the new Life forum goes, and if that fails we create a new forum on luke.ac6.org. I'll help with giving it an SR-feel if you want. The forums that work well on his server is easily hackable to make it look homely.

The Life, Love and Sport forum is unpopular now as it is, but it still gets filled with post after post of Football. I'm a football fan. I love watching football. But, when a post about someones life and their problems is ignored cos Man U are about to win the league for the 76.5th time running, I find that annoying.

Let all the good posters met in there and flood the place with sheer brilliance.

That's why you won't find me there :)

Ah no, life and football is being split, Turbo. They're basically making a blank forum.

I posted it in here, because it's one of the only "pure" forums, like you say. Users in here don't often get pegged down by spammers, and anyone willing to help me with a problem is very welcome. :0)

Don't worry turbo, Grix is talking about an official forum that the staff are planning to create.

I think on monday the Life, Sport, etc forum is going to be split and Pokemon is going to bite the dust. This means no more sport in the life section.

And lets all pray that FOOTBALL GOD et al know nothing whatsoever about SQL :-)
