If they do, I find that very childish. I'm not being biased towards Nintendo, I'm just saying that that is childish. The Official UK Playstation Magazine have the decency to give the N64 credit, and at least call it by it's proper name. In fact, the mag has hardly ever mentioned the N64, let alone called it a stupid name. Sometimes I think that the people who write the ONM are more childish than some of us in here. Who agrees? I know EDGY won't, as he uses it all the time. Me and other PSX fans don't go round saying the "Nincrappo 64" and "Nintendo Very-Poor" or the "Blackendo 64". For one thing, it's really hard to make names for it, and another, it's just silly. By the way, those names are just stupid things I made up in the last couple of minutes. So, I'm just saying, try not to use those names, as they are immature and childish. I've used the word childish 3 or more times haven't I?????
I wonder why?? (small amount of sarcasm) I'm not having a go at the N64, by the way. It's a great console.

I've been trying to say this for ages. It really does make you wonder what qualifications you need to become a magazine writer. The combined IQ of the production team must be less than the number of them. In fact, it is an insult to children to call the humour 'childish', because it is so unbelievably simple.
What makes this complacent attitude all the more worse is that the Nintendo 64 is not the best console at all. I own both consoles, and I honestly can't see how on Earth the writers think what they write. Unless they are locked in an underground bunker full of Nintendo consoles, they really are derranged - surely they have a PlayStation magazine working next door, who will let them play a PSX and enlighten them that more powerful does not, by any means, mean better.
To be fair, ONM are not the only guilty ones. N64 Pro have, for many years, called the PlayStation 'the Pl**Station', and to be honest, only N64 magazine shows the PSX any respect at all.
Funnily enough, PlayStation mags never say anything bad about the N64, despite the fact that PSX mags actually have a right to be smug.
The message is simple - don't by the Official Nintendo Magazine (or should I, hilarously, call it the 'Official Bintendo Magazine). It's aimed at children, but even they are not fooled by this £2.95 Nintendo propaganda.
And, just to leave you with a funny anecdote, guess what they call the PlayStation Two? The GreyStation Poo!!! (try to keep your sides from splitting).

Is this the new unbiased ANT??? hhmm, let me think, maybe not, new leaf, blah blah blah, they might say things like that but so what, what has that got to do with the time of day?? why are you reading an N64 mag? when ou show everyone that your true love is Sony, and how can you say htis when you don't have any proof, your topic title was 'IS IT TRUE@ you don't know, anyway the names are funny, they don't move us away from them they make us look at them and see why they are called this, when we see they are not bad then we think, "hhmm, this mag is crap" if you don't like it, don't read it, and say something to them, like "it's so unproffesional" which i agree, it is and it's not clever.
If they do say htese things then yes I agree with you, but I don't think it's fair that you keep on being biased with your opinions when people have spent many mindless minutes writting letters defending you and your wicked ways. Don't write it on here, say something in the NINTENDO froum, hence the name they talk about Nintendo based subjects in there, not future games and gaming.

The official Nintendo mag is very poorly written, with no professionalism at all. The call the PSX the Fony Greystation, and the Dreamcast the Dreamp*ants. I don't know about the official PSX mag, but the official Dreamcast mag recognises that other systems have good games too, and don't sla*g them off. I think that the most unbiased mag is EDGE- they have top quality reviews, and are completely unbiased. For example, in the height of PS2 hype they gave the games what the deserved (ie 4/5/6/7 out of 10). They also show Sega's side of the coin with interviews with all Sega's producers and heads, making intelligent coments such as: "Sega have the brilliant games- so what more can they do to sell units?"
