If they do, I find that very childish. I'm not being biased towards Nintendo, I'm just saying that that is childish. The Official UK Playstation Magazine have the decency to give the N64 credit, and at least call it by it's proper name. In fact, the mag has hardly ever mentioned the N64, let alone called it a stupid name. Sometimes I think that the people who write the ONM are more childish than some of us in here. Who agrees? I know EDGY won't, as he uses it all the time. Me and other PSX fans don't go round saying the "Nincrappo 64" and "Nintendo Very-Poor" or the "Blackendo 64". For one thing, it's really hard to make names for it, and another, it's just silly. By the way, those names are just stupid things I made up in the last couple of minutes. So, I'm just saying, try not to use those names, as they are immature and childish. I've used the word childish 3 or more times haven't I?????
I wonder why?? (small amount of sarcasm) I'm not having a go at the N64, by the way. It's a great console.

As for ONM, well let's face it, it must be aimed at kids aged between 3-12 year olds. Or is it written by kids aged 3-12 year olds?

There have been a few comments directed at other consoles in the officaial PlayStation mag, but nothing over the top that I can recall.

At this moment in time, I buy six PlayStation mags every month: Official PSM, PSW, Play, PlayNation (formerly PlayStation Plus), and for the last two months, PSM2 and P2.

By far the worst of these for slagging other machines is PlayNation, and to be honest, I am almost at the end of my tether with them. The others occasionally have a little dig, but nothing too bad, and certainly not often.

I personally don't see the point. I buy the mags because I already own a PlayStation, and will soon own a PS2. Obviously therefore, I don't need them to waste valuable magazine space with crap like "Dreamcast is s***e, N64/GameCube is s***e, PlayStation rules" etc. It's trivial, childish and unnecessary; I've chosen a machine that I'm happy with, and all I want is info on what is relevant to that machine.

With the 128-bit machines appearing, console gaming is finally reaching its 'coming-of-age', and it's about time the magazine industry and fans of various machines grew up too.

Hey, Foggie (sorry about the name), I just re-read your message and realised I wasbeing a little hard on you. Yes, I should've written it in the N64 room, but I would have been fired at with abuse. (I use that word as I went Paintball today, and I have huge red marks everywhere, very painful), and the thing I said about writing something with more meaning? I only said that as I was a bit ticked off at you saying I had "wicked ways". Sorry.

Now THATS childish. Anyway, I concur, NOM is by far the worst magazine I have ever read, (I once read Sonic the Comic, Brraaa ha ha ha ha) and the immaturity of the staff is quite beyond me. And surely, if they were gonna call it names, they could have come up with something more intelligent that greystation poo? I can think of about five that are better now...

Hey, Fogmaster, haven't you seen all the replies I've had agreeing with me?? I know you have some kind of problem with me, and I don't really care. Also, yes, I prefer the PSX to all the others, like you and your Nintendo. Me and my wicked ways?? HA HA HA HA HA!!! Very funny. I wasn't being biased, I put that in my message about 3 times, I said the N64 is great, which it is. I said I wasn't having a go at the N64, which I wasn't. I was making this discussion as I think calling other consoles names is childish. My sources are EDGY, Bleeders and a few other people who have told me this. Also, no I don't read biased childish mags like ONM and Playstation Plus, which is biased, I have to admit. It also is very insulting towards women. (Playstation Plus, I'm talking about) Now I've heard the N64 mag is an excellent and unbiased mag, which it probably is,but ONM is obviously very childish. And when I said I was going to be unbiased, I said I wasn't going to argue over who's console is best, which I haven't. You mean, you expect me to say nothing about something as stupid, silly, immature and childish like the names ONM have been using. I reckon some N64 fans would agree with me. Now, "try", the word is, "try", not to insult me any more, and actually say something with a lot of meaning next time.
