Just got an Email ayt 3:35 am :) You have to pay £42.99 plus £3 p+p. So just filling in the info. Hopefully get it by Monday, maybe tommorow if MS are fast on there feet.

Anyone else been selected yet ?

So there sending them from Germany ? If so why, wouldnt they want to send the from the best Country in the world ENGLAND. It will get to use alot quicker for example a day with a Courier. If its from Germany then I wont see it til next week, Monday at the earliest even later probably. Oh well should have Vice City tommorow, bet I dont get it though. Havent got much Uni work to do, so a perfect weekend to play XBox Live and Vice City.

I think they're still waiting for the stock from Germany. My friend hasn't got a kit in the post yet - its just a definate he will be getting one which should be despatched on the 11th.
This will probably be the case for all of the chosen testers.

Phone MS up, as I saw on the OXM forum someone had there Beta pack even though there status was still "In Process". And guess what my order was sent TODAY :). The women on the phone said that it would take 5 days, which is a load of rubbish as she was quoting about after the Credit card had been charged. It comes via courier as someone on OXB forum had it today. Would it really take 5 days for a courier to deliver it? No if its a courier it should be there within a day or 2. So hopefully i'll have it tommorow. Maybe saturday, or early next week. At least I know its comming.

Couldnt be bothered to phone MS. I might do tommorow if my status doesnt change by tommorow. Last time I rang up MS they really didnt have a clue as to what was going on. My order is "In Process" meaning that it can be cancelled now by MS, as they are getting the pack together. Don't know why its taking so long. All they have to do is put it in a box and put my address on it and put it in the mail box, simple.

MS could have sent out all the packs by the middle of this week really. Think about it they sent the email late October 31st/early November 1st. Alot of people ordered it before 9am. Workers get in at 9am, print off all orders up to 9am. Then start getting money from Banks, and getting the kits put in boxes. They have only 3000 to do, and maybe only 1,000 ordered the kits before 9am. So putting a kit into a box sealing it up and sticking a address label isnt too hard. Say a person maybe able to do 30 an hour. Maybe they can do 250 in the day, so thats only 4 people to get 1000 packs done. End of Friday they send out the packs to all people who ordered before say 9am. All orders submitted before they all go home have there money taken out. Then monday, they come in and start with the rest of the orders, by packing them up. All orders which havent had money taken out get that done today. By now all 3000 orders are filled up, and money taken out for each. Then by the end of monday, they have sent another 1000 out. Tuesday comes they send the rest out. Easy isnt it. All orders done by tuesday, everyone should get the pack by the weekend.

But this isnt how MS do it No.

Day 1 : Wait around take out some money
Day 2 : Get a address sheet
Day 3 : Get a box
Day 4 : Get a beta kit
Day 5 : Put it into a box
Day 6 : Close up the box
Day 7 : Sellotape the box
Day 8 : Put address on box
Day 9 : Mail the box
Day 10: Feel proud about the hard work you have done

you will get it sav your overreacting.

I called MS again and managed to get the same girl. My order is apparently still pending so I'm still in the dark on whats happening. I was told to just call back regularly to see if things have changed which I'll do.

I'm gonna be so bloody annoyed if I'm not on it. I've been signed up for beta testing for months - litterally since the day they asked people to sign up. I replied to the mails they sent me, did their survey and after all this, they've just kicked all that to the kerb and thrown the places to the wolves and see who gets them first.
I find that bloody out of order as not only could there be a large number of recent buyers in there that haven't waited a quarter of the time people like me have had to, but also, my friend in particular filled out that survey, stating he didn't want to be an X-Box Live beta tester and yet he is now sitting back safe in the knowledge after changing his mind that he has a kit on the way which should be despatched on the 11th.

This is turning into a huge kick in the teeth - cheers Microsoft. :-(

My order status has changed :( Going to come home tonight and see if its changed and then call MS.

Sav get your mate to Delete the cookies in his temp internet files. If he has a cookie with your info on it saved then it will automatically log you in.
