Just got an Email ayt 3:35 am :) You have to pay £42.99 plus £3 p+p. So just filling in the info. Hopefully get it by Monday, maybe tommorow if MS are fast on there feet.

Anyone else been selected yet ?

But Test Drive was 30th November, now its 22nd. So really we may only get 2 weeks more. Suppose were still getting it early, and we know our packs will be with us in a matter of days.

has Unreal been delayed then. Good that means I can get it on release for certain :D

You say you won't have much exclusive access to it, but don't forget, just as it's taking you a long time to recieve it, it will take the test drive people as long (if no longer) to get theirs.

So it'll all equal itself out.

I'm wondering whats going on with all this beta/test drive stuff. I'm wondering if they're turning into one and the same. Cause theres not a lot of time for beta testers to play before more people come along and with the X-Box Live games not coming until the apparent test drive, theres no exactly a massive choice to play to test the service fully. I don't think a few levels of Whacked! and Moto GP are going to be enough to tell if everything is working nicely. ;-)

Yeah good luck Sav. My order page is still on "In Process" even though it was dispatched yesterday according to the MS people on the phone. Yours may be dispatched today or even in the weekend. On the OXB forum someone rang MS and they said all Kits should be recieved by people this time next week. Also UC has been delayed to the 22nd now. And the Test Drive phase of XBox Live is also starting on the 22nd. So really we may have only 2 weeks of exclusive access on XBox Live. Suppose this is ok as then more players to play against.

Well I called up the line again just now and got some better news. I was told that with the problem of oversubscription, MS sent out cancellation e-mails to a number of people telling them that unfortunatly they hadn't made it as far as getting a kit goes.
I haven't had this e-mail and this guy I was talking to said that I would have had it by now if I was going to get it which means I'm very much still in with a chance - my order is in process still so hopefully this is going to work out and somewhere out there, theres an X-Box Live kit with my name on it ready for its new home. :-)

I have to call back tomorrow morning now to see if things have developed anymore - fingers crossed that things go well. :-|

It depends what parcel service they use hopefully not securicor like the free games :S

By Courier. But on the email it says its a £3.00 standard delivery that takes 3 days. So really if it was sent yesterday, I may get it tommorow if they delivery on Saturdays. Most likely i'll get it monday.
