If a title was available on all consoles, would you have a preference?
I'm trying to see if you choose a console because of a specific game, or whether you have brand loyalty...that sort of thing.

Personally, I would either go for the PS2 or Xbox. To be honest, the Xbox is my choice because I trust Microsoft to provide quality gaming as they have done for my PC.
I wouldn't go near the Gamecube, solely for the fact that I had an N64 and was really, really unhappy with it after a week or so.

I'm not saying "Tell me which console is best", I'm saying "Which do you prefer and why?"
Whatever one you choose is cool, there can't be any wrong answers

(I hope)

id say,
if you want exclusive stuff go xbox,
if you want to play tons of cool games go ps2.

xbox will deliver a more unique thing with cool graphics but the ps2 will have most of its games done on other consoles

but id get ps2 if i had to choose

I prefer GC due to it's originality, both in design and the games (I have many other reasons but i can't be bothered to go on and on)

I want to play the first one more than the second. Actually, I want to play more PS1 games than PS2 games.

Should I try and pick up a PS1 for hardly anything, and get all the good PS1 games... or spend a hell of a lot more on a machine that plays DVDs, and has one or two games I wouldn't mind playing... AND all the ones I want to.

(Or buy nothing.)

Buy nothing. Good idea.

I bought a PS2 because I already had a PlayStation, and wanted to play all my old games. Plus I really wanted to play MGS2.

If available on all consoles then probably the DC or the PSx as they are the best I have.

(Couldn't answer as if i had all consoles because I have not tried an Xbox or GC)

If it were on the PC too though, I would choose that. Not really sure if its a loyalty thing, I just seem to prefer the PC.

Personal preference I guess.

Gamecube, just because from what I've found, I find the Gamecube controller more comfortable. It really puts me off during a game if I have to think about the controls.

Goaty, don't have Rallisport yet, can't afford any new games unfortunately.

Still, PGR and Halo have many hours left in them yet, so I'm not too worried.

In my view, PGR is MUCH better than GT3. It's more acradey where GT3 is simulation which, for me, makes PGR much more fun.
