When I saw MGS2 from the opening scenes it looked good. Good graphics and music that set the mood. But do you call that a game!? how is 3 hours of cutscenes and codec messages, and an hour of playing, a game? The playing is good but not what I expected, reading all the reviews. I overall think MGS2 was a disappointment. Is this what we expected?

Some of the codecs can get quite boring like the ongoing relationship between jack and rose. But the FMV's are great.
If you think the cut scenes are boring, you can't be interested in the game at all!!
If you wonna just run around and kill guards all day then play another game, Red Faction ar something.
I find the scenes totally imerse you into the game, making it an adventure your actually involved in, rather than a quick, pick up and play shoot-em-up! (or sneake-em-up).

Boring? How can you call scenes like the one with Otacon and Emma boring?

If he didnt want judgement then why did he post it ? Thats like the point of posting any topic, to get feedback on it.
