"Whilst some European and US publishers may be favouring the Xbox and PS2 as their initial platform of choice, the GameCube in Japan is receiving staunch support from its native developers. Atsushi Inaba, the creator of Tekki (Steel Battalion) has announced that Capcom currently have five new GameCube titles in development. Whilst no specific titles were mentioned a presentation of the games to the Japanese press is expected next month."

So, what do you think the games will be?

Capcom are currently developing for the Nintendo gamecube:

Resident evil 0
Resident evil 2
Resident evil 3
Resident evil Code Veronica
Resident evil 4
Project Devil
erm and others...

I belive as RE4 and Project Devil has yet to be unveiled that they are two new ones. I also wouldn't be surprised to see the return of Megaman.

Streetfighter looks possible, I'd much prefer a Devil May Cry game although that is currently PS2 exclusive, same with Resident Evil online. Nevertheless Project Devil may be a good replacement for Devil May Cry although I do want RE online. Disney Games are highly likely.

As for Soul Calibur 2 it is not due on consoles for a while with a mounting fear that it might be exclusive to PS2.

Well the arcade machines out now I think, so it shouldn't be too long before the console versions come out. Maybe around Xmass, or early next yr!

Talking of decent beat-'em-ups, does anyone know what's happened to Soul Calibur 2?

Good point. I always get them mixed up!

Yer, there is surpose to be a Devil May Cry type game in the works. Which is a good thing, as the first DMC was a good game.

They've already announced those games though. I predict a 3D Streetfighter game, that Devil May Cry type game and ummmm some stupid Disney crap.

Resi Evil Zero, 2, 3, Veronica, and maybe another? Well there's around 5 games!

What else they bringing out?

Hopefully a decent beat-em-up!

Probably more Street Fighter games. And a dance game. And a racing game. And an arcade game. And more Resi games.
