"Whilst some European and US publishers may be favouring the Xbox and PS2 as their initial platform of choice, the GameCube in Japan is receiving staunch support from its native developers. Atsushi Inaba, the creator of Tekki (Steel Battalion) has announced that Capcom currently have five new GameCube titles in development. Whilst no specific titles were mentioned a presentation of the games to the Japanese press is expected next month."

So, what do you think the games will be?

Not at all my friend. In fact, it should have been done on the Dreamcast.

The Capcom cube release I'm really hoping for is a new HIGH-RES 2D fighting game (ala Guilty Gear X). I love Soul Caliber but for me the purest of the fighting genre will always be the 2D fighter. I bought a dreamcast to satisfy that burning desire for a decent fighter created by the N64's total lack of contenders - now I need a next-gen Streetfighter!

Pack it with so many levels and characters that I'll go through three controllers before I unlock them all. And I don't want to see a single jagged line! I want to shame all past arcade machines with truely next level sound and graphics, combined with some old school gameplay. And throw all those marvel and SNK characters into the mix while your at it!

Is that too much to ask for?

I'd like to see Capcom bring a version of Tech Romancer to the 'Cube. It's gotta be one of the most underrated games ever.

If project Devil's anything like Devil May Cry, then we're in for a treat.

Unlikely. Don't forget that Nintendo now have a super duper relationship with Capcom. And remember those Link rumours?

uhhh 'Project Devil', 'Devil May Cry'

Does no-one seem the resembalance?

Project Devil is being made by exactly the same team that made Devil May Cry, so I think we can expect a similar game.

Theres 2 we already know about, PD and RE4.

Megaman has already been anounced, so it isn't that.
