I am sure I will get tons of hate messages for this but still it has to be said.

After the 90 million pound fine and the xbox selling more in one week I feel that (to my sadness) that Gamecube will have it last year next year.

With the Ps2 still storming the market and the neverending pockets of microsoft I believe that the market is to small to have 3 consoles in.

I think in order for Nintendo to stay in the market is for them to make a first person shooter that will change the market like Goldeneye did.

Mario Kart will have to be amazing which I believe it will be. Maybe bring out an expansion pack so the GC can have more Ram and better graphics. Make a game like GTA and advertise more. I see more adverts for ps2 and xbox than for GC.

Come on Nintendo I am counting on you.

Yeah, you're right there. Though a good game, Luigi's Mansion is an essential purchase. You probably don't have the money after just buying a console, but must have games at the moment are:

Super Mario Sunshine
Resident Evil
Eternal Darkness
Timesplitters 2
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2

Indeed. Its odd how these turn up later. However, Mafia would be good. I'd get it.

Conflict Dessert Storm is planned for March in the States so sometimes after that. There's no plans for MGS2 and The Thing to make an appearance though, pity, i'd have liked to play The Thing.

I wasn't aware Mafia had a set GC release anyway..? And while we on the subject of planned games, does anyone know whether The Thing, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance or Conflict Desert Storm will make a GC appearance.

So the X-box, which has been out for two months longer than the 'Cube, actually sells more than the 'Cube, and a fine about something that happened two years ago is going to put Nintendo out of business? And our survey said:

Why? Back in the 1980s there were many consoles all competing at once.

Why a first person shooter?

It costs a lot for TV adverts, maybe Nintendo prefer other methods of advertising.

what i meant was, they lose money on their console right, and they make that up by selling software. If they give away software then they don't get any money for it, and therefore lose the equivelant of what they'd lose if an X-Box costs £80 (Over £200)
