Could you scrub my name from that list?

Haven't won in a few months. The fault could lie in either two things:

1) I haven't written anything worth reading since the back end of august
2) I am on some SR blacklist.

Although there is a strong possibility that the former is the case, my pride can only believe that it is the latter.

Nah, I just knock them onto the "do not enter for GADs" list.

I hate to admit it, but I am like VB here. I pretty much do the same.

Heh, I did wonder if Kirk's comment would trigger a comment like that...

In any case, I do not intend on asisting anyone in the acquring of pirate software - least of all via a topic started on a respectable message board to someone I don't know.

Now, as IB implied, it's time to let this topic rest before it oversteps whatever lines SR set in place about this sort of thing.

MOTHER OF GOD!

Are you people retarded? Do you think that SR will have any qualms about reporting you for software piracy? After all, the fewer people pirating software, the higher their sales will become.

For the sake of your own futures, please stop admitting to serious criminal offenses on public internet forums!!

The excellent thing about these rental games is that they install themselves quickly and sensibly, and leave no masses of files that you need to get rid of once your done.

It really is an excellent system.

Now that I didn't know about, and it's certainly very interesting. Prices seem quite reasonable too, from what I've looked at so far.

The fact that it requires a constant broadband connection really is a major downside though. Have to write a few more abusive letters to BT...

Ah, but you can rent PC games, via the internet.

Very clever system that, and not an easy one to abuse.

A clean, unabusable system would have you register your PC stat with the company website and have a constant web connection so you can be authed to play.

This itself has its own problems, mostly due to the fact that so few people have broadband and can afford not to care.

The rules are quite clear cut. Games cost a certain amount, and if you are willing to pay that then you can play the game. That works well commercially for most of the world so that is why it is continued.
It makes little difference whether you think the prices are too high, that is the price that is set, so you should abide by that.
Things are not made illegal casually you know. Laws are set to try and maintain justice. Although try is the main word in that sentence.
