"Is it safe to scan my face?"

I've been toying with the notion of putting my face in a flatbed scanner for a while now, but IS IT SAFE? I won't come out all radioactive or invisible or summint, will I?

Did you have a healthy green glow afterwards?

I did scan my face, but to be honest it came out really crap. My nose was all squashed and my hair was all quiffed and I didn't feel it was a true representation of what I look like, so I just would have been kidding you all.

Just close your eyes or the thing will blind you for like an hour or so.

The little cat. It's always trying to get in my flat.

This has nothing to do with the impracticalities of not owning a digital camera...I just wanted to scan my face.

Your hand looks radioactive...

I did scan my face in once. My dad wanted to see my new haircut and I had no digital camera. I closed my eyes while in there, quite a scary place really. Your mind goes full of light then after several noises it's done, and you look (well I looked) like a Kosovan. (no offence to any Kosovans on the forum - but I did :))

I'd recommend you use a digital camera though as people will laugh at your face. Also if you must do it turn off all the lights it comes out better...

I don't think Darwin had the radioactive bit down as part of evolution...
