The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
It's my impression that there are too many forums. Lately I've been posting in the FOG Chat and also in the Life and the Universe forum. I really prefer to have one favourite forum for my cryptic and biased opinions.
Does anybody have a view on this?

There aren't enough forums. I demand a forum of my own, where I can ban people as I see fit, and win copius numbers of GADs whenever I feel like it...
Or failing that... get rid of that election forum once this election is over, and bring an election forum back for about 2 weeks before the next one so Chat isn't filled up with election pleas...

I don't think there are too many forums. Everyone likes different forums. I spend my time in FOG(chat), Life, Sony and the Music etc. forums.
There do seem to ba couple of dead dog forums that are always at the bottom of the list like Retro, Stories, and Sega. But there are probably people who wouldn't want to lose these forums.
It doesn't make too much difference to me how many there are as I tend to pick out the ones I am interested in.

The forums are fine. Okay, some forums get one post a day, but if you mix subjects topics get lost easier. Leave them as they are.
Maybe a Vice City Forum is a bit OTT though. We have a Sony forum.

I don't think the "game ideas" and "interesting stories" forums add any value.
Game ideas is basically FoG Prime material, and interesting stories generally find their way to the Life forum.
