From the 29th November, expect to see an XBox bundle consisting of Splinter Cell, Halo, Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT going for £200.
Now that's a bargain!

Nintendo are in fact beating Microsoft in Europe and America too, perhaps not in weekly sales, but in overall ones it's quite apparent the GameCube is out front. I too think Nintendo should concentrate on America and Europe, which is why they're doing so. And I post rubbish? Who are you to dictate what I should post? For crying out loud, if giving my opinion on a matter in gaming is rubbish then I think you need to think about what YOU'RE saying. As for what Microsoft are doing, I see it quite clearly, thank-you.
GameCube sales going down? Get your facts straight. Yes the X-Box is doing well, but with blitz advertising, constant price cuts and bundles, you'd expect them to. Trust me, if Microsoft didn't need to do all that - they definitely wouldn't.

You're so blinded by the fact I've said something remotely bad about the X-Box, you're failing to see my point! I'm not against Microsoft cutting prices, etc to sell their console - far from it! All I said was that I wondered how the bundle would be taken by the people who have just taken advantage of the previous one.

You speak the most inappropriate garbage I've ever heard. Nintendo have won this year by making the most profit out of the three available consoles - that's their strategy. The fact is, Microsoft will now never make a profit on the X-Box and so therefore, never overtake Nintendo. Who gives a damn which one comes out on top? I like the GC, you like the X-Box. My initial point was a small one, yet you've managed to explode it into a fully blown console war.
Get over it.

It seems MS are doing the same.
To me, it appears that MS have realised that they need to walk before they can run. Rather than trying to immediately surpass Sony, they're realising they need to secure 2nd place before trying to take on the market leader.
I can't explain why, but this pack gives me the impression that MS are attempting to capitalise on the recent turn-around in sales by putting some clear distance between themselves and Nintendo.
I think they could have done better with the software, though. (Remember, this is just my thoughts...) Splinter Cell - great game, looks set to be a big hit, should definitely be in there. JSRF - in my view, this is a limited-appeal game because of its content - a love it/hate it title. Sega GT 2002 - having played the demo, this is severely lacking as a racing game; PGR would have been a better option, I think. Halo - well, good enough game, though I found it a little disappointing as many of you know; launch title, probably should be available in most shops bargain bins anyway by now.
Still, they're free, so... :-)
My options for the 4 games would be Splinter Cell, TimeSplitters 2 in place of Halo, PGR in place of Sega GT, and Munch's Oddysee in place of JSRF.
Microsoft had a very slow start I admit, but if they were desperate then these packages would have become widely available a long time before now. As the Microsoft news letter called it, these are Christmas packages released to increase sales and become a hot seller for Christmas and so far its working very nicely. Can't you take it that in terms of sales the Xbox is doing better than the GameCube? Or is it just comments you randomly make to put strong competition down? If Nintendo were releasing such a package then I don't think you would be complaining then, would you?
Its Microsoft turn to control the market ahead of Nintendo (I am leaving Sony out of this), not only do I have the great games to look forward to but also in terms of sales I am happy because the more they sell the longer they will last. Try and be happy for someone other than a GameCube owner, it might hurt but its the true spirit of Christmas... Maverick scroodge! The tables have truly been reversed!
