From the 29th November, expect to see an XBox bundle consisting of Splinter Cell, Halo, Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT going for £200.
Now that's a bargain!

Everyone? Name me another person on top of you that has started fuming at me about a small point/question I posted. What? You can't? Didn't think so.
You're so sure of yourself it's funny, and quite frankly, I'm glad you can't think of a suitable explanation for yourself, because you were getting on my nerves really.
As for you Maverick, I can not be bothered arguing with you, everyone has pointed out to you but you think you know best then so be it! Know all = Know nothing.
> Pentium 3, around 800MHz and an average graphics card should be fine. Works for Xbox! ;-p
So why does Mafia require a 600mhz PC or so, but can run on PS2s 300mhz???
PC and Console specs arn't the same. DC performed at the equalivint of a 500Mhz PC with TNT2 graphics according to the team behind the Quake 3 version.
I know a few people who got the sega bundle and i cant see them buying another...it will be a good idea for people who do shopping late on but wont dio as well as if sega one wasnt made.
As for which console has better games i dont see why you should care, if your console has the best games why have you got to compare them to others.
I was just playing GTA3 and the thing that struck me wa it is a brilliant idea, but badlt done..graphics arnt that good, and lots of other things can be changed to improve it..i know a few are made in vice city.
You may have GTA3 on PS2 but thats all you will get, games that add blood and swearign and stuff knowing they will make money as it attracts customers...but you are left with just random running around killing..no skill at all.
GTA3 and vice city are good games, but they are the only real ones that stand out in the PS2 play list, and getaway..but wait isnt it a bit like GTA :O
in my mind starfox and mario are miles better than GTA3 as they dont need blood and swearing to make them good, and i know the old kiddy thing will come but why should i care?
Im happy, and if what you say is true, you should be happy, why compare games that you like to games other people you like....its like saying teh best colour is blue..its your own opnion.
> Hope you've got a beefy PC, its gonna need a moster to run it.
Pentium 3, around 800MHz and an average graphics card should be fine. Works for Xbox! ;-p

Well I did, in fact, hear that from er-no, and as he works in GAME, thought it a reliable source. I'm not sure really.

Sales don't matter one bit. If the GameCube stopped selling, I know I wouldn't stop buying and playing games for it.

Well I'm glad MS and Sony have got their Christmas strategy sorted because Nintendo seem to be doing nothing. A price drop to £99.99 or a free game bundle would be adequate but no, they haven't done anything. I really hope they've got something up their sleeves or they might miss out this Christmas...
> but I'll be able to get it on PC soon.
Hope you've got a beefy PC, its gonna need a moster to run it. When PC owners get Halo, xbox owners will be 3/4 months away for Halo2. Everyones a winner.
> Nintendo are in fact beating Microsoft in Europe and America too
Last i heard 2.7 million Xboxs in americ to 2.2 million GC. Bout the same in europe and GC is miles ahead in Japan.
Wordwide yea GC beats Xbox, but who cares. PS2 beats tem both by miles but isn't better than either depending how you look at it.
Another reason for the xbox bundle is that Sony are rumoured to be cutting PS2s price this christmas in europe. MS probably acting safe to combat this move beforehand with a new bundle, as if they did it afterwards fanboys will be screaming its another "desperate" move.

I never dismiss the X-Box! I'll admit, I may have got a little angry with Alistair, but I still think it's a good console. If I were to win/be given one, I'd be over the moon! Unfortunately, I just don't have the money to get one myself - it's just not worthwhile in my position.
As for the games, I agree with Halo, and excellent game, but I'll be able to get it on PC soon. Splinter Cell I can get on the GameCube or PS2 when it comes out some time next year (1st or 2nd Quarter). JSRF I wasn't too impressed with, just not my kind of game and as for SEGA GT, it was just another racer, similar to GT3 (which I hated).
Xbox Had a slow start, they need to make up ground. Xbox sales were near triple of what GC sold last month or something thanks to the SEGA bundle, and indeed worldwide sales rose whenever a new bundle was released. Mabye MS want to continure the trend, sell more with an even better pack. Perhaps new bundles evey month will be MS strategy from now on, who knows, its worked so far.
I do find it hard to believe you still dismiss Xbox. £200 gets you and Xbox, one of the best FPSers ever (halo), best Stealth game ever (splinter cell), excelent Sega goodness (JSRF) and well a pretty average racer(Sega GT).
But £200! I mean no matter what gamer you are, thats tasty.
