Surely the future is in Laptops, especially if they become essential school kit.
The only argument I can see against them is the three weeks it takes to rebuild the system after installing a joystick.
Also they just aint capable (yet) of producing the magic we see in most great games.
Oh and the majority feature the name of Microsoft somewhere or other, blue screen of death during a game = soon to be busted laptop after you throw it at the floor/wall/friend etc

Consoles are more adaptable to gamers.
