Personally, I get too embarrassed when work colleagues start handing me stuff for my birthday.

If it helps, Happy Birthday for Sunday, Ros. Did you actually tell them it was your birthday? Because I know someone who always complains thay we never remember their birthday, but they never tell us until after it's happened.
