Anywho, yes, the PS2's graphics will improve, as will the Gamecube, X-Box and Dreamcast (not at its potential yet...). So, when the PS2 seems to catch up with the Gamecube, the Gamecube itself will improve, and PS2 will get left behind with graphics again.
Graphics aren't everything anyway, but its nice to be able to play a slick-slidingly smooth game (slick-slidingly?) with crisp detail and graphics. I wasn't moaning at the quality of FMV anyway, it looks really good, but I just hate it, for it is not what games are made for.
Fmv's are fantastic but the in-game movies aren't really affected by the number of pixels there are. As in ps1 ...final fantasy..for example..some fmv's on other consoles would probably just be like it and no better...
I really don't like a console that smells, it does put me off whe playing games...
But anyway, the PS2 has adequete graphics compared to, saaaayyyy, the Gamecube, and at the mo, some on the Dreamcast.
Yes, some games on the Dreamcast look better than some on the PS2 at the moment.
(And don't YOU DARE get me started on FMV....)
,
ARTY does the same about the PS2,
Do I!!!, I've always maintained that all consoles have their good and bad points.Show me where I've done otherwise, and I'll go along with you're point!!!!!Otherwise get you're facts right.Anyway, I've had more than my fair share of free-b's from SR, so please show no concern for me, thanyou.
I'd like to see how the pre-ordering public react when they find that Tekken Tag really is a lump of absolute **** and that it not only looks poor - it plays awfully too. Also Ridge Racer 5 is actually the most under achieving PS2 game to date.
