the x-box is ment to be the most powerfull console out there, but looking at the graphics there ok. i just had a look at the trailor for resident evil 4, and thats the best graphics i have seen in a long time. So does nintendo also have this advanatage over other consoles as well?

If you look at totals tohugh the PS2 has nearly 5 times the games that the Xbox and Gamecube have. So theoretically, that would mean 5 times the amount of good games!

Lol. Perhaps I was a bit TOO cryptic. The Getaway is an ABSOLUTE MUST BUY. And then there's Tomb Raider: Angel Of Darkness. I'll admit, the PS2 is somewhat dying out, but there's still a gradual flow of decent games.

yes but again, you shouldnt go on how the game looks!

its how it plays that counts.
think about it, you can have really lame graphics and still have the best game ever!

a recent example is Animal Crossing, the graphics are crap but the gameplay is amazing!

Final Fantasy games, they used to be terrible graphics but the game was top notch!

when it is released on Cube at xmas it will look yummy, but i am more worried at how well it plays!

Just remember, the amazing Halo is coming out on PC soon, and the X-Box's killer app, Splinter Cell will be available for GameCube next year.

The consoles are so similar in terms of specs it's just not worth arguing about. It's how developers make use of the facilities at hand, that counts. And as the GameCube is brilliant to develop for, we're seeing such visually outstanding games as Rogue Leader, Resident Evil, Starfox Adventures and others.
