As long as it comes out on PC, I don't care. I can't beleive they delayed it. Absolutely ridiculous. I should be playing it NOW.

To be quite honest this applies to nearly every game on the market;

Mario Sunshine
Starfox
Resident Evil
Eternal Darkness
Timesplitters 2
Fifa 2003
Pro Evo 2
GTA Vice City
Halo

And anything else you care to mention. Originality does not exist anymore, at least not in the West, but then again Japanese games only seem original to us because we are not used to them, in Japan they aren't usually considered original.

And if you think Splinter Cell is as simple as you say then you obviosly haven't played it...
