After weeks of arguing with my good friend over "Who's music taste is better? "

I deceided to end it up by an agreement of swapping CDs and listening to them for a week and well...

I gave him Manics and Radiohead
He gave me Nirvana and Red Hot Chillis

I now like Nirvana and Chillis and he likes Manica and Radiohead...

Strange things happen

In Utero is better than Nevermind :P

One Hot Minute is my favourite Chillis album. "Put a smile on your face rock" style of thing. Lot of guitar pianging. And "HO!"'s.

Nevermind remains my favourite CD of all time.

From what i've heard, the other 3 are pretty good. OK Computer is being downloaded as we speak. Or I type. Whatever.

Radiohead suck. Thom Yorke is an idiot. For a start, he can't spell Tom.
Nirvana is boring and repetitive.

But Chillis are great, and the Manics rule.

Hm, I saw the chilis play live one time, it was very disappointing, expected far more from them...I like their more recent stuff, but I'm less keen on their earlier work..

Bends/Ok Computer/Everything Must Go = Great stuff.

But I'd agree with you on the newer stuff.

Nirvana I can't really judge on, because I've only ever heard Teen Spirit, and I didn't particularly like that at all.

I was telling someone just the other day that In Uterus is better than Nevermind. Cool.

Chillis are ok, not my cup of tea but have some artistic merit.

Nirvana, Manic street preachers and Radiohead:

bunch of whining gimps with not even an ounce of talent between them.

What chilli's album did he give you?

That reminds me of an old Radio Active joke (the forerunner to KYTV, if anyone remembers that....) about throat lozenges called 'Quillies'. With a nice jingles inviting you to 'Suck Quillies'.

KYTV was pretty funny, how come that doesn't get repeated?

I meant to say Chillis suck but Nirvana have went up about 50% in my opinion.
