"Travian"

Anybody on the browser game Travian? It's a free online game and basically you turn a small little oasis into the capital of your kingdom - building resource fields, warehouses, barracks etc. You can even form alliances and rage out war with other players.

I'm already part of one of the alliances (90th in the game) and have a lot of power withing (Head Diplomat), so anybody thinking of joining, start up in the south west region of server 4 on the .co.uk version of the site (click)

Just thought it would be a bit of fun we could all take part in. If you do decide to join, just note down your coordinates and name in this thread.

Not entirely sure how I am doing so badly to be honest :/ I'm on here upgrading most days, yet still seem to be dragging my feet along :(

Server 1 should end in about 2 weeks or so I should imagine when someone builds a wonder of the world.

Server 3X started the "end game" about 2 weeks ago when the plans for a wonder of the world were released and that ended yesterday but is a faster game than server 1.

I've got a 3rd settler in about 3 hours so will have a third village sometime tonight.

I'm finding it hard enough to concentrate on server 1 let alone any others :o Hope that doesn't end anytime soon :(

Yeah i'll be restarting on that one.

Well server 3X has been won, when it restarts I'll register again so if anyone else fancies doing likewise we can form an alliance.

I pretty much spend my resources as soon as they're collected so they're not sitting around doing nothing. If you do that you resources per hour goes up pretty quick.

Has everyone made use of the "Travian Plus" feature yet?

You get given 35 Gold, I assume as a new account.

For this, for 5 a time, you can buy a 25% increase in total production on Lumber, Clay, Timber, Iron, Wheat that lasts for 7 days.

There's also the chance to upgrade to a "Plus" account, for 7 days, which costs either 10 or 20, I forget. It's not really worth it though, as it doesn't seem to give much that's any good.

On top of that you can increase your attacking power by 10% for 7 days for 5.

How?! Virtually all I've done is upgrade resource fields and I'm only at 150 for each except 73 for wheat.

So to repeat............

You can't have your resources destroyed but they can be stolen above what you can hide in your cranny.

What happens is after a certain period of time a computer controlled alliance called the Natars is released and you have to steal their blueprints for a "Wonder of the World"

Once stolen you build a wonder to level 100 and win the game.

Currently servers 1 and 3X have the Natars released so once an alliance builds a level 100 WOTW the server will be reset.
