Anybody on the browser game Travian? It's a free online game and basically you turn a small little oasis into the capital of your kingdom - building resource fields, warehouses, barracks etc. You can even form alliances and rage out war with other players.

I'm already part of one of the alliances (90th in the game) and have a lot of power withing (Head Diplomat), so anybody thinking of joining, start up in the south west region of server 4 on the .co.uk version of the site (click)

Just thought it would be a bit of fun we could all take part in. If you do decide to join, just note down your coordinates and name in this thread.

Yeah, that alliance is funny. Originally it was just tomo, he had about 150 pop at the time he declared war on everyone. I was considering reinforcing him :p
I love the messages on his profile - the one from Aimee Louise is great. She used to be in our alliance o_O


I had yet another attack from the same guy who the last report was from. He sent 500 swordsmen, 300TTs and 150 Haeduans, all of which were decimated. I'd post the report but for all I know tnc is in 187 in which case I don't want my exact defences made public :p
Another 2k defence points for me. He has given me about 7k in the last week or so.

Whenever the last stage of all this was, he initially sent something similar to the above, then for some reason he followed it through with 1x wave of 1500 phalanxes then another wave of 1000 phalanxes. He didn't bother scouting until about an hour after he sent it and 10 minutes before it was due to hit... genius! The first wave was handled comfortably and suffice to say, 2500 phalanxes vs a strong defence don't fare too well.
I can't work out if this is all part of some big tactical picture or whether he's just an eejit.

Starting to get a bit fed up of it all though, to be honest. I'm considering just letting them cata my NE villages so I can go and simcity in the south in peace :p

Although I'm being raided a lot down here this time around though :S

EDIT: Second village up and running. Positioned nicely next to my larger one so free trade can occur. Now I'm two up, my empire's population will increase quicker than a bunch of randy rabbits :P

The real problem with this game is despite the fact I have five villages I'm very conscious that two of them could easily be reduced to rubble overnight.
This is the last time I settle in the NE o_O

Slowly getting towards getting my second village on server 4. Overnight raids have stopped now I have 4 crannies and the 10% attack & defence bonuses. My 20 praes kick butt! :p

edit: something is definitely going on, Clawbeast (top defender - HRE) has gained another 9k defense points since this morning.
