Are there any (decent) scrolling beat-em-up games for the PS1/2? I miss the days of hitting people round the head with a drain pipe on games like Streets of Rage and Final Fight. Ahh god bless the mega drive.

wow streets of rage rocked. Me and my mate used to complete it every saturday - it was very cool. Golden Axe was a greta classic aswell, except i ended up being the short guy all the time - hope people arnt trying to tell me something!

nah State of emergency is amazing

what about picking up axes chopping of peoples heads and then hitting people with that persons head? iron bars repeated hacking off limbs and hitting people? i shall stop now

State of emergency is rated as the 3D version of both them games.

Or simply wait for Tekken 4. It is also going to have a scrolling beat em up mini game. And some magazines even say, it is even worth the purchase alone!

You could buy tekken 3. That has a scrolling beat-em-up mini game on it.

Might only last an hour though.

OK so i geuss there arnt really any games of this type on the PS2 but what about the PS1?
