Gamecube does not.
You can watch films on X-Box.
Ergo, it wins.
It may need three freight trains to move, but you can watch Dogma on it.
Argument settled, you are all getting an X-Box. Or a PS2.
The X-Box is a joke.
As am I.
Stryke, it was a joke... right?
Sonic
I hate big X-Box cos I'm racist ;-)
I also have Mallrats. I have Dogma AND Chasing Amy as well.
And Withnail and I.
And Memento. And L.A. Confidential.
MUAHAHAHAH. I win, Happy man.
Ergo. :-)
Needless to say, I won't be shelling out on an X-Box or PS2, and neither will I be purchasing a Panasonic Gamecube.
> Ergo, it wins.
haha he said ergo :P
um yes. X-box has DVD. Stryke you forget that this is microsoft of whom you speak - the most profit mad, all-dominating, richest company known to mankind. Free DVD feature? I think not.
In order to operate the x-box as a DVD player you have to buy a remote of Microsoft. Nope, no ersatz remotes seem to be around either. That means paying a ludicrously high price to Microsoft. And I'd rather split my money between a Gamecube (£150) and a top-notch-multi-region-better-than-X-Box DVD player (£150) and then I'd have fifteen odd pounds left to buy another copy of mallrats with.
Thus I have ended up with:
-Gamecube
-Good DVD player
-Mallrats
and you have:
-X-box
-remote
and then you'll have to shell out to build an extension to your house, in which to house the thing :-)
Seriously though, it's a much better deal to buy a Gamecube and a DVD player because both will do their respective jobs better than Microsoft and without the need of two service packs...
And I have mallrats. So I win.
I have a DVD player anyway, as I imagine you have, so let's take Brodie's advice: "Why buy the cow when you get the sex for free?"
