It took me 11 days to get my Beta pack. But at least you can still play online now, as you need is a XBox Live game. You hook up your XBox to play live and select Live within the game. You create a new gamertag and it will install XBox Live on to your XBox. We Betas had to wait for our packs as we had no XBox Live games so we couldnt do the above. And also our subscription codes came with our starter packs.

I bought the student Office XP Pro from PC World and it had a code to order the CD's from MS in it, got a similar email to the one you get with Xbox Live order stating 28 days but it was just under two weeks. I'll post on here when mine arrives 'cause I think I was earliest of everyone to ordering it, though probably not by much - 11:55PM 29th Nov.

Everyone else should so the same so we can get an idea how long it takes.

Well my X-Box Live kit is ordered and in process. One thing the confirmation mail says is "please allow 28 days for delivery". Hmmmmmmmm, with my little history with Microsoft, I get the feeling I'll have to allow every single one of those 28 days too - and then some.

I know thats pretty negative to say, but until that kit arrives in my arms, I'm keeping my guard up.

They are lying to you, I swear that I went on the site, to www.xbox.com/uk/live/now.htm and that I began ordering it around 11:55PM last night, by 00:10AM I had received email cofirmation of order. They're messing you around by the sounds of it !

XboxRules.com ? Now would I plug that site?? ;)

No seriously though, you have plenty of time to get Xbox Live!

If you are having problems, it is proabably down to either demand or server problems or both.
