Everyone has games they own, yet regret ever wasting money on. But what games are you proud to own? Which games have given you hours of enjoyment? Which games do you still play today, after all these years?

Mine are -

Command & Conquer and Redalert
UFO
Syndicate
Total Annihilation
Warcraft 1, 2 and 3
Hidden & Dangerous
Doom
Half Life and the add ons
X Wing, TIE Fighter and X Wing vs TIE Fighter
Monkey Island 1, 2 and 3 (didn't like 4)
Theme Park and Theme Hospital
Goldeneye

I have dozens and dozens of games for all my systems, but these are the grand daddys of games. More recent games like Max Payne, Mafia and MOH could be included, but I haven't played them enough to class them as classics

Name a better beat em up, with a richer one-player quest and more extra (including using a fishing rod as a sword)

I don't reckon Soul Calibur was as good as people say it was. It looked *amazing*, and was a bloody laugh, but I found it very difficult to learn the moves meaningfully for one character, let alone 10 or 12 or however many there were.

Though it was a very good game regardless.

I love playing that game, I think I can get from start to finnish without dying :)
I've done almost everything on that game, except find that last elusive piece of heart container to get a maxed out health bar

I am extremely proud to have a monster collection of SNES games, which I had to track down individually. I love them all.

Indeed you are. Although you don't have a golden fish with a man's face called "crapmogress"
