Everyone has games they own, yet regret ever wasting money on. But what games are you proud to own? Which games have given you hours of enjoyment? Which games do you still play today, after all these years?

Mine are -

Command & Conquer and Redalert
UFO
Syndicate
Total Annihilation
Warcraft 1, 2 and 3
Hidden & Dangerous
Doom
Half Life and the add ons
X Wing, TIE Fighter and X Wing vs TIE Fighter
Monkey Island 1, 2 and 3 (didn't like 4)
Theme Park and Theme Hospital
Goldeneye

I have dozens and dozens of games for all my systems, but these are the grand daddys of games. More recent games like Max Payne, Mafia and MOH could be included, but I haven't played them enough to class them as classics

I am proud because I own a mint condition copy of Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast.

No, wait, I'm just smug :)

I don't think 'proud' is the word for my collection of games, I think 'pleased' would be more appropriate. However if I had a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty signed by Hideo Kojima or a copy of Final Fantasy X signed by the SquareSoft development team, THEN I'd be proud. And smug.

A boy and his blob!

I'd completely forgotten about that game, it must be years since I last saw that. Excellent game it was too. Control the blob by giving him jellybeans which make him change shape.

I'm off to eBay to find a copy...

One game I'd have loved to own was a brilliant shoot-em-up called Gunhed. It was available for the PC Engine. Quite simply one of the best games I've ever played...(at the time!)

Oh yeah, also Prince of Persia on the SNES.

I thought Soul Edge was better personally. I spent many a day on that.

I'm proud of owning most of my games. My particular favourites are:

All my Sonic games
Virtua Racing Deluxe for the 32X
Sensible World Of Soccer (Real classic game)

I would like to get my hands on more Mega CD games.

I think Soul Calibur on the dreamcast is the best one-on-one beat em up I've played to date, and I've played just about all of them. The characters are varied without being unbalanced, and the balance in the gameplay between grabs, blocks, sidesteps, and normal atttacks is just about right.

I prefer Capcom beat-em-ups to Soul Calibur. Super Street Fighter II is probably the version I've had most fun on. Marvel vs Capcom II is a blast, but ridiculously imbalanced.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Very pleased
Very pleased with the help given by your staff. They explained technical details in an easy way and were patient when providing information to a non expert like me.
