Everyone has games they own, yet regret ever wasting money on. But what games are you proud to own? Which games have given you hours of enjoyment? Which games do you still play today, after all these years?

Mine are -

Command & Conquer and Redalert
UFO
Syndicate
Total Annihilation
Warcraft 1, 2 and 3
Hidden & Dangerous
Doom
Half Life and the add ons
X Wing, TIE Fighter and X Wing vs TIE Fighter
Monkey Island 1, 2 and 3 (didn't like 4)
Theme Park and Theme Hospital
Goldeneye

I have dozens and dozens of games for all my systems, but these are the grand daddys of games. More recent games like Max Payne, Mafia and MOH could be included, but I haven't played them enough to class them as classics

I'd say get Perfect Dark on top of that too (If you have a few more quid spare, as you'll need an expansion pak too)

Yeah, but that doesn't make it crap! No-one makes games for the DC anymore but it's still a great machine!

Even playing Goldeneye with two players is fun! The control pad has got the best setup for controlling your character and shooting that I've ever come across. You should go for it - and grab yourself a copy of Perfect Dark, Zelda - Ocarina of Time and Mario 64. You will not be disappointed.

I've always preferred playing multiplayer on PC as you have the whole screen to yourself. I hate having just a quarter of the screen to play in, besides, everyone can see what you are doing.
But I may well do that. Problem is no-one makes N64 games any more do they?

Good God man! You've lived a sheltered life haven't you? Get onto e-bay right now - for the price of a £40 game, you should be able to pick up a N64 and a copy of Goldeneye. Then immerse yourself into the world of Bond and be prepared to shun your friends and family in the quest for the ultimate 007 rating!
Yeah, it's multiplayer so try and invest in a few pads (and a few friends!).

I'd love to play Goldeneye, but I've never owned an N64.

Goldeneye has stolen my life away and left a broken shell of a man who remembered the feel of warmth on his face after a sunny day, but now resides in a semi-psychotic state of anger and fury.

Or, in lighter terms, I have wasted at least 500 hours on it...

The biggest daddy of all is Unreal Tournament. The sheer joy and raw fun of playing has taken over 400 hours of my life so far, and that figure will continue to rise. Other games flash past, but my one and only true favourite remains Unreal Tournament.
