The most hated console for Gamecube owners the X-box has done it again. Aswell as taking Rare it has also taken the newest installment of Perfect Dark (which is probably going to be the best shoot em up ever).
I discovered this Whilst reading the Nintendo official magazine letters section.

Part of the goldeneye development team left and formed free radical who are responsible for timesplitters and timesplitters 2 :)

rare in a way have gone multi format as they will still be releasing games for the gba, and if its in microsofts strategy they might be release some xbox games for the pc market as well

If you want Perfect Dark/Goldeneye 2, then get Timesplitters 2 - those are the people who made it after all. Rare were just left with a name. Oh, and I don't expect it to be a patch on Metroid Prime.

Metroid Prime will be the GC's answer to Halo.
But Halo 2 will be amazing....

Halo is boring.
Its dull, slow and boring. But still quite good.
And the shogun is pathetic. You need a good shotgun to make a decent FPS.

i have had metroid prime since it was releaaed in the US.
i like it but it could be better.
levels seem disjointed and can get confusing easily.
controls are terrible! having to stop, then look around is anoying and no circle strafing unless in combat.
poor show, but good game

Metroid Prime's approach is different to that of Halo. You need to experience it to see where Prime is coming from.
