Operation Flashpoint. It's about as close to a real war as you can get, and damn fine game to boot.

To marry off a princess, drag and drop her onto either an emissary or king of a faction to atempt to marry into that faction. You can also marry a princess to one of your generals to boost their loyalty.

To get a prince married, drop an emissary on a princess from another faction.
