Hi, Monkey_man here. I've just found my old scanner, so I'm trying to set it up, but I'm having loads of trouble. Can anyone help me here - I've tried everything I know. If you can do it, I've got loads of pictures of Snuggly in fancy dress that I'd like to share with you.

Not sure but go into the software your using, don't bother looking for the device (don't think this works for many programs) but as long as the power lights switched on, it should scan stuff. :s
That's exactly what I've been doing!!! Printer to scanner, scanner to PC. It's not like it's the first time either - I done this about 5 months ago and it was fine. Now I go to 'add new hardware' and it doesn't pick anything up. I'm teaching John Davidson a thing or two about the more coarse side of the English language, I tell ya.

is it USB? if not plug it straight into your printer port, then plug your printer into the scanner.

Did you try hitting it really hard and swearing really really loud?
