Hi, Monkey_man here. I've just found my old scanner, so I'm trying to set it up, but I'm having loads of trouble. Can anyone help me here - I've tried everything I know. If you can do it, I've got loads of pictures of Snuggly in fancy dress that I'd like to share with you.

I had to take my soundcard out in the end! Sorted now, I'll post the URL to Snuggly and it's up to him if he wants the world to see his chicken legs.

It was a follow up to the original "John's Not Mad" documentary in '89 that anyone my generation remembers as the coolest moment of our adolescence.

It doesn't work with some of your other hardware!? thats not good, is that something to do with the drivers?

Wow - what a memory you have! I fear that problem may have reared it's ugly head once again, because I re-installed my soundcard yesterday. I knew it was too good to be true.

This may sound completely wrong...
...but my scanner developed a dislike of my old external modem and I could not have the two installed on my system at the same time. The modem resulted in the scanner not being detected but as soon as I turned it off and rebooted the scanner magically worked again.
