It's surprising that these packages still have security holes. Given how long Java and Flash have been available, with very little change in terms of adding features (as far as I know), I would have thought they'd be bullet proof by now.

I can see the "fruit- based" machine users getting jealous at this rate:-)

That'd be a first!

Email Pro seems to have been running slower and slower throughout the day ... any reason? Doesn't need a new thread ... does it!

Seeing as no one is bothered, I'll create a 'new' thread for your comments. But as it will be a waste of time, I'll continue here:

As a winner of the Google+ competition, that has been running for the last year as you will all remember, I am potentially £950k better off...except for the following, as a result of some investigation into the 'email':

The recipients domain seems to be far removed from Google:

"Registrant:
Organization : Yan Yong
Name : Yan Yong
Address : Rm.108,Bldg No.11,No.4 YanNan Newly Stay,YanCheng,JiangSu Province,PRChina
City : Yan Cheng
Province/State : Jiangsu
Country : CN
Postal Code : 224001"

and an email 'reply to' seems to be:

Reply-to: gpanniversary@sucmail.com

On further 'delving' , Freeola Anti-Spam and AVG both gave a clean bill of health ... perhaps it was the attached pdf that masked the real intent ;¬)

Anyone else received an email from the CEO of Google UK today...enclosing a GOOGLE ANNIVERSARY WINNING NOTIFICATION? It's a rather large sum of money involved in return for various 'personal' details ;¬)

CEO of hosed (cloud) services company says his company's product is the future of computing.

Not that surprising otherwise he'd be "doing a Ratner"

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
