I'm thinking of buying Metroid Prime since reading a review which gave it 7.9 out of 10
Problem is - I'm not a fan of first person shooters ( prefer third person )
Also - I haven't played any of the previous Metroid games
I like puzzle games - Zelda , Mario - and enjoyed Shadowman on the N64 and Eternal Darkness on the GC
Can anyone give me an unbiased view of Metroid ?
Anyone know where I can catch a video of it on the net ?

i agree it is good, and its HUGE
but to say it will beat halo 2 i dont agree!
one main reason, multiplayer! where is it?!!?
halo is renowned for mulitplayer action!
metroid prime has none!

its still great but the controls are so annoying sometimes! especially in combat!
you get used to it but i still get frustrated whn a ting on the ceiling is shooting me and i have to stop, let it shoot me more while i look up to shoot it!

the "looking up" is only in the first few levels and only the first few times you identify the character. and according to CUBE and BGC, metroid has multiplayer.

well i have done about 4 levels and its till the same old "walk in a rom and stop, then hold R to look about" and as for multiplayer as far as i can see tehre is none!
unless i am missing a whole setion on the start screen!!
