I'm thinking of buying Metroid Prime since reading a review which gave it 7.9 out of 10
Problem is - I'm not a fan of first person shooters ( prefer third person )
Also - I haven't played any of the previous Metroid games
I like puzzle games - Zelda , Mario - and enjoyed Shadowman on the N64 and Eternal Darkness on the GC
Can anyone give me an unbiased view of Metroid ?
Anyone know where I can catch a video of it on the net ?

I saw the ad as well. The graphics look well nice but, of course, this may be because of the TV screen.

i have metroid prime and resi 0 and i must admit resi 0 has lived up to expectations but metroid hasnt at all!!
yes it is good but it could have been so much better!!
the control system is temain let down, not being able to look about while moving may not sound too bad but when you play it youll know what i mean!
resi 0 is amazing, the gameplay and the levels and puzzles are everything youd expect froma resi game!
new, ingenious and sometimes extremely taxing!!

metroid has had consistently excellant reveiws, better than resi0, mario sunshine, or anything else! it has strainght 9s on IGN, others have given it 9.9/10, and 99%. THis game is rumoured to be the game of the system (like Goldenye/Zelda OOT). This is going to go up against Halo 2 you see, and this is going to win!
