I have just recently looked at Nintendo.com's new Zelda GBA website and I thought since I haven't played the original game LoZ: ALTTP that it was amazingly long. There hasn't been many games that i have played before that was even this long in capacity maybe Ocarina of Time and Golden Sun but nothing else that doesn't take less than a month to complete comes close as to how long I think it is.
The game consists of 3 different dungeons in the light world and then 7 totally new ones in the Dark world.

Also I was looking at some of the weapons and saw quite a few familiar items, but I noticed that the Master sword could be upgrade twice to even greater swords than before; the mirror sheild can also be used as a portal from the Light world to the Dark world.
I suppose that many of you who have already played this game before on the SNES will know how difficult it will be and how great it was, but this may be the second or even first best Zelda game ever.

Hmmm... when I originally completed it, I did it in about a year ( I was young, and couldn't defeat Ganon at the ned... :D). I would say about three months, for a first time player, if you play it all the time though. Some puzzles are reall hard if you haven't played it before.

Heh, I played it so long ago, I can't remember how to enter the 6th dungeon! :D Now, it was sometihng to do with the mirror.

*goes off and does it*

Yeah, I completed it, freed the windfish etc but the only thing I didn't get were all the photo's! May go back and try and find them some time. I did it all without a walkthrough too!

It's not a remake! It's exactly the same, bar a few sound effects here and there.

Jeez.

And what the hell is that about the 7 new items? The crystals were in the SNES version!!!

It took me a good few years to complete it. I was stuck on one room in a dungeon for AGES and then I used a walkthrough (you had to bomb the wall, apparently) and after that it was plain sailing. I've gone through it a good five times now.

I was thinking of getting a GBA but i only have a £200 Budget and while that'll take up half of it i'll have no room for the Gamecube stuff i wanted.

Link's Awakening For the GB. How many of you actually completed it? I think its the hardest Zelda game out of all the great series.

I know its a mad question, Its just out of Curiosity.

The good thing about the GBA is that it is region unlocked, that is why you can import very easily
