What it said in the first post was:
“All you need to do is design a logo that fits in with the rest of the place. Flash5 and anything else can be used, just TRY and keep it's size down a bit as the page will take forever to load.”
So I designed my logo, and won. Tom then said:
I think Andi's logo already feels like it's at home. Nice one dude. Like I said with Rob, whoever wins I'll give you a DVD up to £20 outta me own money.

Now I receive this e-mail from him:
The logo didn't meet the required specifications as after much thought, we came to the conclusion that it was 1mm too wide therefore, invalid. Please kindly take your logo and firmly lodge it up your ar*e.
So, what do you vote I do? I’m in the process of posting this on all the forums I know he uses, and I’ll e-mail a copy to SR. I’m also currently writing an e-mail to his hosts to see if they’ll do anything, for I don’t like to be messed around..
Oh and Tom, I have numerous screenshots to prove your site used my logo, so don’t get any bright ideas.
> Thing was with the Gameplay images, it's his first main site, when they were uploaded he didn't have much experience with image products, and since then hes spent all his time working on the scripts for the site, I didn't think as long as his site wasn't making money he wouldn't have to worry about copyrights to Gameplay's site, as it's just a small personal site that hes making.
If he had been itellegent enough to actually include a credit to Gameplay for the use of the images, or even gone as far as asking their permission to use them, it wouldn't have been too bad, but he wen't straight for copyright on the content of the site... Weathe ryour making money or not, using someone elses work and copyriting it to your self is still a big legal no no!!
> Heh the legal stuff is funny, but it looks more professional, I guess he didn't think much more than that about it :P
Looking pro and being pro are two totally different things, it's obvious from this example that he has no idea about the implication of placing a legal statement that worth about as much as a chocolate teapot!!
>and the new logo could have easily been ripped off, if someone else name was underneath you could have rubbed the fonts out and typed your own in.
Looks big brother-ish to me... but even without the typeface, if it's someone elses logo/trade mark it's still in breach of itellectual copyright!!

Iteresting reading...
"From Legal info"...
· Upload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consent to do the same.
Nice to see the site owner is in breach of his own so called legal disclaimer? Uploading of graphics where the intellectual rights belong to someone else (Whooo/Gameplay!)
· Use any material or information, including images or photographs, which are made available through the Services in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
Though it was OK for him to break this law using someone elses website graphics...
If this were to go any further, you'd loose a court battle as you've infringed on your own legal statement? How stupid do you feel?
> The legal information still remains.
Even though it's not legitimate (had our legel guy read over it and he wanted to know which legal firm you are dealing with you if you need to get your @rese covered?)

Is this an old logo, a new logo or another one ripped off from somewhere else?
