How long do people think the N64 has left to live?
With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

Now that Perfect Dark is out I’m starting to see similarities between the multiplayer levels. Villa, Car Park, Warehouse, Grid and Fortress are all fairly open levels while G5 building, Sewers and Pipes all seem to be quite enclosed. Rare have obviously decided that people prefer open levels but what do you think? What are you’re favourite Perfect Dark multiplayer levels?
Dan also says that you can get upto 50% off games from some sites, this is very good and some other sites also gives you freebees when you buy something from them, like Special reserve for instance, when you join you get a free gift and then you can buy games with excellnt discounts!!! but the final decision is yours, if have no money on you at the time ask your mum and dad to buy you a game online but tell them that you have 99% of the money in your wallet and that you'll pay them back real soon(yeah right) or if you just had your birthday i think it's always best to go down town and do some window shopping.
Any way it went on from there Mario Kart hit our shops and it seemed to be a very popular game, I prefer DKR(Diddy kong Racing) thats my opinion, but Nintendo decided to make some more mario titles and make him appear in more and more games!
Mario golf: this game is good, but golf games really bore me and don't offer much to the imagination, it is a good game but lets Mario and Nintendo down!
Mario tennis: Once again, not a sport that interests me as tennis is not really a sport that has a great deal to it, and if you watched Wimbledon then you will know that it's just a back and forth game.
Super Smash Bros: Mario is apart of this game, and yes it is a very very good game, it was made very well and has sold alot of carts, but then it is made by Nintendo!
if Nintendo bring out another game with Mario playing a sport then I don't think it will be a great success, they don't get very good reviews, if they made a first person shoot em up then it might sell, or another RPG/Platform game them i'm sure that will sell in it's thousands!!
I think that Nintendo should stick to RPG/Platform games, everyother game that they make doesn't seem to make the mark, Pokemon Stadium is the biggest flop since the Playstation! it sold, but no one thought it was an incredible game, they really let themselves down!
Next was Mario golf, I cannot say a lot on this topic as I have not played the game but screen shots looked good and the way Nintendo merged real time golf rules and way of playing in to a Mario game was done extremely well.
Mario tennis, due out in the U.S this fall (http://www.nintendo.com) looks like a very good all round game, critics at E3 in Atlanta and Nintendo themselves who have had a cut down version of the game have all given out positive responses to the game and this will surely be on my games shelf by Christmas.
So what now...what sporting game next...a football game...not enough characters? Olympics...that would be interesting...what do you think...let me know!
The Game
First things first, if you are concerned about price in any way you should definitley buy it on mail order as, with a few exceptions, they give the cheapest prices around. I shaved £14 off the price of Perfect Dark AND I received it one day before the release. However, the main drawbacks of mail order are a) that you need the use of a credit card to buy the games and b) that they take quite a while to arrive. Once you’ve wanted to buy a game and then sat down and read every preview and review and finally you’ve decided to buy it, you want it there and then. To some people, waiting a week or even a few days for a game to arrive is too long.
Which brings us on to pre-ordering a game in the shops. Although you don’t get cheap prices you will be guaranteed a copy of a game when they have stock in. If the game you’re after is already on shop shelves of course, you don’t need to bother with this but with games like Perfect Dark which sell out amazingly quickly, pre-ordereding could be your best bet.
Aaaaand finally we have the ‘walking into a shop and buying it’ option. This is the most hassle free and providing you can get to your local games shop, it’s very quick. For some people the lure of being able to play thegame in a matter of hours is too much to resist. If you’re fussy about when you receive the game and don’t mind about price you’re better off with buying games off the shelf.
Right, now I get to the ‘summing up’ part. Whether you mail order, pre-order or buy a game off the shelf depends on what kind of person you are. If you’ve got pots of money stashed away somewhere and can afford to pay the higher prices charged by shops then just buy it. If, however, you don’t mind when the game arrives and like the sound of low prices then look no further than mail order. Pre-ordering an unreleased game is a good way of ensuring you get the game on the day of release but just make sure you can get to the shops that day or else you’d be better off mail ordering it.

THE GAME...
...BECAUSE I AM THAT DAMN GOOD
my advice, buy this game if you can get it cheap or second hand, but don't buy it brand new because that is wasted money, it's only good for a couple of days until you get so bored you use the cheat! then it just goes downhill.
BUY PERFECT DARK.
