Here a question.

How long do people think the N64 has left to live?

With games like Perfect Dark, Zelda: The Continuing Sage, Turok 3, A Resident Evil game, Top Gear Rally 2, and a bunch of other wicked games this year. How long will the N64 live for? Specially with the PS2 and Dolphin on the horizon how much longer can the N64 last?

Playstation is going to sell more at the start as did the PSX, but wen the X- box and gamecube comes out they will sell more. PS2 has problems, It falls over, not all games work, not all DVD work. Gamecube has loads of accesories (Game Boy Advance, Mobile phone, Modem, Wavebird Controllers. ) It is ovisos that the Gamecube will do the best with new games coming out not sequels.

Those awful mario bros?
You may think they are puffs but take a look at crash bandicoot!!! also, Nintendo make quality games rather than yet another almost-identical Final fantasy game.

Dont you hate it when the game developers spend ages bringing out the game to make it "PERFECT" when the first time that you play it you can find ways that they could of made it better or you find very annoying things in it that keep happening. i.e Perfect dark, the first time that i played it i thought that it was the best game i ever played, but now i have found reasons why i dont like it as much. 1) The awards that you are given at the end of multiplayer, there are not enough there should be more like most hounrble, stealthy, There should also be bad awards like least sheilded, Most dishonuable, Least kills, Most deaths. Another annoying thing is the way that you get punched, it would be all right if you did'nt go dizzy but that is the most annoying thing. Another is that you dont get as much from it as goldeneye, although the one player is more interactive i can see the goldeneyes solo lasting longer than PD's.

It's been a long fifteen years but "Excitebike" is back with a vengeance. Sure, many a motorcycle game have come and gone, but I never forgot about the original Excitebike and I'll never forget about "Excitebike 64" which could possibly be the greatest motorcycle racer of all time at least so far. EB64 definitely raises the bar on moto racers the same way Gran Turismo raised the bar on auto racers. What else can I say besides the game is truly a work of art and ingenious design. Graphically, you can't really ask for more, there's a little slow down when you get several motorcycles on the screen at the same time. Other than that it's near perfect and it's hardly noticeable. The animation, tracks and backgrounds are all gorgeous. The physics are dead on, these boys obviously done some research before they released this game. Controls are precise and accurate. The motorcycles and sound effects are very realistic but the announcer can get a little annoying. The one thing this game has above all is replay value. No motorcycle racer before has packed in this much replay value or this much fun. There's a one player season mode that will keep you busy for a while unlocking all sorts of other play modes along the way. The original Excitebike is in here; also included are a stunt track, a track editor which is second to none, motorcycle soccer, desert bonfire races, a 3D version of the original Excitebike, hill climbing races, exhibition races, time trial races and several four player modes that turn this baby into the ultimate motorcycle party game. So my advice to you is: do not rent this game--buy it for £36.99 at special reserve.

Dead or Alive 2 looks great on the Dreamcast, I wish we had it on the N64.

I agree with Mr S.. I'm a grown man with access to a lot of the latest hardware and I'm a dribbling wreck since getting my paws on my N64. It's been a love story from the outset: tears, laughter and Mario!!!!
The young pretenders to the throne have gotta get their pixel cute shoes on otherwise I can't see an affair with another machine happening for me!
