actually, i was a bit gutted this morning when i received the new special reserve magazine. for 40 quid you can get yourself wipeout 64, f1 world grand prix, turok rage wars and f-zero-x, gems each and every one of them. and to think that i paid full price for them when they were released.
but then on reflection, i have no reason to be gutted at all.. because i have no doubt that i have got my money's worth from these games. which shows just what bargains these beauties really are now.
anyone who says that now is the time to be an n64 owner could not be more right. with such great games for a tenner or less, we can all curb our impatience for perfect dark for the price of a curry and a couple of pints. buy wipeout now! and if you haven't got an n64 then buy one of them to go with it. because perfect dark is out in 1 month from now.
jump onto the n64 bandwagon and enjoy endless multiplayer laughs. you know it makes sense.

V rally are they getting better or worse?
I have the V rally 99 edition and it is the worst one in te series they have produced,the graphics and sound are great but the steering are really pretty bad, this is the only thing that is stopping this game from being a chart buster.
There are a wide range of cars, all with diffrent ttubrutes to suit diffrent users, also the options are very good and well laid out, the game is well organised and well throught through.It take time to get used to the handeling on this game but for 20 pounds it is a bit of a bargain.
I much prrefer the handeling on starwars racer, but starwars racer is to be honest not 20 pounds, if you are looking for a cheap realisic game cose this game it may have it downers but it can be a great game if you get into it.
To get up the cheat menu follow these instructions.

So we've had a couple of years of N64 and its games and I have to say there have been brilliant ones and bad ones. But with playstation2 coming out and project Dolphin why are Developers carrying on with games for the N64. Playstation2 will be big but Dolphin will be Massive. They have titles for them all ready but the developers are still putting forth new titles for the N64? Whats the point. Why dont they finish the titles they have all ready and by the time they finish with that the Dolphin will be out. The developers know that Dolphin will be massive so why not make them selves big like rare have.
So it time to put N64 aside and bring on the Dolphin.

I think that the above statement is a complete farce. Occasionally the n64 does have a classic (goldeneye) but it only is supported by those games. The graphics are always underachieving in most games and they are well overpriced. The n64 doesn't have a good 3rd person game like the Playstation and it certainly can't do sport games to save its doomed Nintendo butt. You would be hard pressed to find 100 games for the n64 that someone would want to play as there are only 101 games out. Nintendo definitely mucked up with the n64, not enough games, heavily reliant on rareware to deliver the quality and now dependant on pokemon for the british market. I also think that Project Dolphin is the largest lie ever from Nintendo, just a feeble attempt to stop people jumping on the ps2 bandwagon. Sorry Nintendo, Shigsy has to produce a miracle of godlike proportions to keep the sinking ship afloat.

As most Nintendo buyers will agree, that nintendo is the one and only console to play, this is only because they have made consoles for us since the early 80's my mate has all of thier consoles and if you line them up side by side you can see how they have changed for the best, whereas sony come from out of the blue and the only reason they sold so well was because they beat the nintendo's launch by a year or so, thats a long time and by then most of my mates had spent about Ł400 on them!! when the nintendo came out it was a mad rush to be the first one out of my mates to experience the graphics and gameplay!
