What are some of the things you'd like to do, before you kick the bucket?

Maybe visit a country, learn a musical instrument, meet a celebrity etc.

- Watch Blade Runner for the first time. I heard it was good

For real??? How have you lived without seeing Blade Runner???

It's better than good, it is, in my opinion, one of the best films ever made, and it still stands the test of time.

Sort it out, cross that one off! You won't regret it...:-)

Okay here are a few of mine. Feel free to pinch a couple if you'd like to try them too.

- Memorise the NATO phonetic alphabet
- Visit Pompeii
- Experience weightlessness
- Take part in an archaeology excavation
- Run a marathon and raise lots of money for cancer research and childrens hospitals
- Meet Dragonlance in person and share some old war stories
- Enjoy a two week long cruise. I don't mind where. I just want to be out at sea
- Watch Blade Runner for the first time. I heard it was good
- Learn to play the piano and guitar
- Experience a murder mystery weekend inside a big English mansion
- Run a small store, cafe or bed and breakfast for a year or two
- Take my whole family to Disney World in Florida. I still have some great memories when we went in 1991
- See one of my books printed and for sale in a bookstore (before they all disappear)

I'll think of some more.

Sorry guys. I thought with 40 views and no posts, this thread wasn't going anywhere. I forgot it was a saturday. :D I'm not doing these threads for me. The forum looked empty and posts from June 2011 were still showing on the first page. So I just wanted to get people talking again.

Feel free to post your bucket lists if you have any. I'll change the thread again when you do.

Well, to get things moving, I'll post the top few entries on my bucket list...

1) Visit Egypt to see the Sphynx and the pyramids. The single most intriguing enigma of ancient culture, I'd just love to see it for real.

2)Visit Japan. Simply because the MODERN culture is so intriguing!

3)Get one of my books published for real; I'm not necessarily expecting a best seller, but it would be nice!:-)

4) Make a really big purchase using only 5p coins!
My grandfather once bought a double bed with 5p coins, and the look on the salesman's face was SOOOO hilarious, I'd just love to see it again! The conflict of interests as my granddad asked for a bed costing £600, said he'd pay in cash and then handed over 3 carrier bags full of small coins is an opportunity not to be passed up, I'd recommend everyone try it at least once.

5) See my son get married, and for them to have the most awkward child in the world- I call it payback:-)

That's my top five...
