Hi!
I thought Nintendo was good and I always said so,but, having said that my brother got a PS2, and I realised, that Nintendo would have to do something special to beat the PS2 the GameCube is good, but they'll need to do better than that to beat Playstation!

It looks to me if you'll like both, but probably the PS2 more. I depends, but whether you get both should be up to your budget and taste in games. E.g. for me, there are maybe only one or two games I would like on the GameCube, and I don't have enough monet to buy all the ones on the PS2 I want, never mind funding a GameCube as well. Take a look at the release dates and games for both consoles and see which has more that you want.
Like most of the people round here, I honestly can't see the GameCube beating the PS2 (that's not to say either is better though). Has anyone thought of the future? What if the GameCube tails off towards the end of its life? Hmm, just a thought.

Nah. I reckon Sony have been holding back the really big guns until the X-Box and Gamecube have arrived. And, look at that, they have. So the PS2 should start picking up quite a bit, now.

Well, Nintendo DOES have something very good to counter the PS2, it's called the GameCube and it will "own" the PS2
