Hi!
I thought Nintendo was good and I always said so,but, having said that my brother got a PS2, and I realised, that Nintendo would have to do something special to beat the PS2 the GameCube is good, but they'll need to do better than that to beat Playstation!

Not only that, I have a GC on import.

I was thinking more of developer and general public support. Of course games will still be being made for it.

MY dringoish friend keeps telling me games will be made until 2007ish. So I dont see that as a Problem.

I think there are two different issues here. One is which you think is better, the other is which you think will do better. I am personally very impressed with the GC, and have been disappointed to say the least with XBox. I won't go into why now though. To be realistic PS2 has had too much of a headstart to be really challenged for the prime space in the market, I think that will come with the next round of consoles. However my prediction for how well the consoles will do is XBox and GC equal ( pretty much), with PS2 staying on top. However, ask me which I think is better overall (including price, controller, games etc) and I will reply GC, as I have proven by importing one.

If the PLaystation and N64 are anything to go by, the PS2 will be round a lot longer than the GameCube, unless Nintendo get anything short of a miracle!

I own a PS2, and I want another console as well. So that would be either the GC or Xbox. The GBA doesn't interest me at all. At the moment I am leining towards the Xbox. The price doesn't bother me as I have the money :D and to be honest, in my opinion (Yes MY opinion, not any of yours) the Xbox is better.
I really like the idea of the hard drive. I know the PS2 will have one as well, but seeing as it is an add-on, I don't know wheather it will succeed.

The GC is a good competator though. Its always good to have some competition, and the GC will provide this. I believe that all three consoles will succeed. As someone has mentioned in Prime, the market is a lot bigger now, meaning that more consoles can be in competition with each other. I also think that all three consoles are aimed at different markets.

I want to get all 3 of the consoles cause theres games on all 3 that I just really want :-) Halo on X-Box, Star Wars Rogue Leader on Gamecube and MGS2 on PS2 for examples
