Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

stefan selakovic is good yea but Kim Kallstrom and Kennedy Bakircioglu are better. Selakovic is usually my backup.

Yep Selakovic is good, Newcastle sometimes buy him on mine, i've never bought him because im Man United and they don't need any more Midfielders!

Well guys my Wage is up to 75,000 now and Elber, Amoroso, Kluivert, Morientes, Pizarro won't come. Amoroso will probably come when i try to buy him next season as its his first season at Dortmund and will not want to sell him staright away but...

Problem solved! I bought Edilson from Flamengo! he is superb.

Woooo...got Man Utd in the 4th round in the FA cup. They are the current champions. at Maine road though so I have a small chance!

I got the sack from Sheff Wed today :( After 28 seasons in charge as well! I made the club what it is...9 times champions league winners...14 times premiership...5 times FA cup...3 times league cup...3 times world championship.

I finished 8th last season and was lying in 15th the next season when they sacked me. They are currently lying in 18th! relegaion for them!

I'm now the manager of Man City in Division one. They were in 18th when I took over but now I have got them into a play-off position! I could be back in the premiership straight away!

oh and I found a player called Selakovic the other day..... buy him, trust me!

Hadnt really played this game much since I bought it, but Ive started playin one of my mates from college across the Internet. Its great because when I beat him, I can go into college next day and ripp it out of him!

Im Roma and hes Juve.... Im top, hes 6th..... ahh shame :-D

whenever i first buy a champ manager game i start off with a big team to get used to it then i go on to starting with 1st and 2nd division teams

I prefer to play as a smaller team. I think I do have the wrong mentality for smaller clubs. I tend to keep my best players, where chances are, your best players will bring in money which can be spent on 2-3 players.

why is everybody always the big teams? i love being the smaller sides.

if you can wait a bit for the player to train up then buy To Madeira who might still be playing at Gouvela but most likely he's moved on by now. If your lucky he'll be at a lower league team and cost you around 250k.
If you want someone to do the business now then either vieri, elber, pizarro, saviola or Martin Palermo
