Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

I just bought Robert Pires from Arsenal for Real Madrid.

To set you scouts search for people go to 'Assign scout' in 'Player and staff' search and choose what you want them assigned to. You can also assign Scouts to certain players by going to action on that player and then 'scout player'

LOL same here but is you are really struggling for young players then thats it....

I prefer to buy players that I know, and have heard of.

Oh and the best way to find young players that are good and totally free is to type in No Club in player search, you should find a lot of youngsters there.

Young player, hmmmm Nottingham Forest's David Prutton is good if you put him in first team a lot.

i'm getting tired now of having to search for clubs with decent young players that could come in handy to me, or even worse searching players individually. does anyone know how to assign your scouts to clubs/young players. in the manual(which doesn't help) it says go to his(your scout) view screen or in another section it says click on their search button? whtat the hell are these and how do i use them? does anyone know?

a really good player you cab buy is Ricardo Quaresema(if i spelled that right) just search for ricardo. If you buy him try and loan him out to a smaller team to give him experience, when he returns put him in intensive training, before long he should be a regular potugese international and maybe one of your star players! hint: you might need your database to be on maximum for him to be avaliable because he plays for sporting!
