Now, I was a little annoyed with SR getting rid of the gaming threads.

So please share your Championship Manger experiences in here.

Currently i am Sheffield Wednesday in the year 2030. This is the furthest I have ever got in any champ man game! THe other ones used to stop after 2026. Anyone know when it does end? If ever?

Anyways, whats the most you have sold someone for? Mine is £88M. Well chuffed with that sale. It was one of my home grown players as well. Came through the reserves and was a great hit.

In November 2049 now...

So close to the big 2050...

I wonder if the game ever ends?

Apparently, sigames.com will be putting up some big news in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, it will be a release date for CM4, screenshots or a demo.

I'm on my summer Holidays now and decided to start playing CM again! Gonna try to play 1am till 4am every night. Just seem to love playing it at that time...probably becasue there is nothing better to to do at that time! Just carrying on my old Sheff Wed season. Just finished season 2045/2046. Won my 22nd League championship with them but got knocked out of the champions league in the 2nd round :S

Bought a few players at the close of the season, the main reason I did crap in the champions leadue was ebcasue I sold my Star player to Lazio. ( no point in mentioning his name becasue you wont have heard of him!). I always sell any players that ask for more than 100K a week as I dont get much revenue from the 50,000 staduim to cope with that sort of pay!

There have been a couple of stories ghosting around about CM4, however they are both wrong. The only things confirmed about CM4 is that it will be supported for on-line play and that the graphical display of the match will be 2D top down (Kick Off style) as opposed to the 3D isometric type views typically seen in FIFA/ISS games.

As stated, check SIGames.com every now and then for updates, screenshots are coming sometime in Autumn. That's about all there is so far.

the only site to really trust on champo release dates is Sigames.com the people who make the games they announce the release dates well early and i have only known them to get it wrong by a week at most and that was for the original champo 3.

Yeah, I've read it is to be a complete rewrite and upgrading certain parts like transfers, match, tactics. There is also something about online play. At the moment, everything is very hush hush about CM4.

They usually come out at around the time of November, hopefully at the cheaper price it has become accustomed to. Isn't it supposed to be changed as they apparently change the format every 3 seasons?

Looked at 2 different websites...

1 says its coming out for the new season, the other says CM4 wont be out until 2003...

grrrrr, it best be out by September
