The price of the launch games compared to other systems.
The XBox launch games are at £42.99 (on average) and the GC launch games are at £37-39.99.
Now, that few quid may not seem much, but when the prices of the games drop (as they always do a while after launch), then I would guess that the XBox titles will drop to prices similar to PS2, around £35-37, and GC titles will drop to around £32-33.
Now, GC games will be similar prices to PC games, and the lowest priced of all consoles.
Will this make much difference to the buying public? Well, ti could do. If the only bad things people remember about the N64 is the high price of games, and relatively few titles, then this price may make them change their mind.
Also, there appears to be a large number of launch titls available, with big name games released over the few months following launch. So we won't get what we had with the N64 - some good titles at launch, then nothing of any real worth for a few months afterwards.
Nintendo: Getting it right this time?
Look at my action adventures post. I've been writing that for 3 weeks now. My last post in Life had been on the go for about 4 months.
Bleh, I can't be bothered to write anything any more.
What's your work?

Debatable, but probably not. COme back later, around midnight for some full-on Ninty bashing to back this.
I doubt the prices will go down. Nintendo are notourious for doing what they can get away with, especially in Europe, and they CAN get away with keeping them around £40, like all other consoles since the 16 bit era. Look at the GBA prices, they're still stupidly high, but NIntendo can get away with charging that much so they don't care if they're ripping us off.
Just a few weeks we will get Smash brothers and Resident Evil. Then Starfox sometime in late summer and Mario towards the end of the year. ANd there are loads of other nearly top notch games coming like Pikmin and to keep people happy inbetween. Who knows, we might even see Zelda within the next year.
