I think it should be 2 months, not 21 days, for various reasons. 300 posts is kinda OK, although I think that restriction shoud be removed altogether to avoid spamming.

I don't really know what's brought this on, I just think it should be done.

Well, that's lost me all my newbie votes. Meh.

Discuss.

Doesn't bother me how long it takes to become a regular, as I've already spammed myself to that rank, heh

I've stopped spamming all together.

I worked my way up to near the top of the Top 100 posters over the last 30 days honestly?
Unlike some other folk.

Yes. You can die within 3 days if you get no sleep, but it's more because your brain fizzles out. More accurately, the synapses degrade. You brain needs a period of rest 1 hour in every 3 where it shuts down to rest. If it doesn't get this it gets damaged.

are you attacking us poor newbies again, 21 days are far too long. Most of the dangerous newbies are just regulars who keep getting banned.

I think FM's right, but it shouldn't be based on GADs. Not every posts that deserves to win GAD wins, and sometimes it can be months before you win, even if you deserved to ages ago *cough*.

I don't take a rest every three hours, does that mean that my brain is damaged? Thanks for that synopsis Turbonutter, it was quite intruiging.

not entirely true because it took me 277 days to win a GAD

It's a one in three ratio, something we come to take as 8 hours every 16 hours of sleep, basically an 8-hours a night sleep pattern. However, you be up for 2 hours, go to sleep for an hour and then repeat and you'd be fine (but you may find it a bit annoying!)
