Who here is getting an XBox and why? Although I don't rate it too highly myself, I want to see why other people think it to be worthy of £300 hard earned cash.

I've actually had a change of heart with the X-Box - mainly because of Halo. Also spotted a few other games I'd like to get so tomorrow I'll probably put a pre-order for one.

So it looks like I'll be picking up an X-Box on release day now ;-))

Now I've got that off my chest, I'm still waiting for an XBoxer. The fact none has turned up yet just continues to confirm my belief.

Excuse me! I have played it, actually. My friend got it on import. So before making comments like this, perhaps you should check you facts! That was actually quite offensive!

The comments I made were based purely on personal experience.

It being made by Microsoft had nothing to do with it, but the HDD still has a filesystem, probably Fat32, which will still have to be synched and umounted, so probably.

They're damn good. I strongly suggest trying out the snowboarding game and Gotham City Racing, two quality games on the demo. Also watch the Oddworld and Halo movies. Its a shame you can't play them, but they're still amazing to look at. That says nothing about how good the actual game is.
